
Prof. Raman Maini honored with 'Eminent Engineer Award'
Patiala, November 23: Prof. Raman Maini from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Punjabi University has been honored with the 'Eminent Engineer Award' by the Institute of Engineers (India). He was conferred with this honor during the '37th National Convention of Computer Engineers'.
Patiala, November 23: Prof. Raman Maini from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Punjabi University has been honored with the 'Eminent Engineer Award' by the Institute of Engineers (India). He was conferred with this honor during the '37th National Convention of Computer Engineers'.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Maini is also working as the Director of Malviya Mission Teacher Training Center at Punjabi University. He obtained a Merit Certificate during his M. Tech degree at Punjab Agricultural University. He is a Fellow of IE (I) and is a life member of Punjab Academy of Sciences, ISTE, IETE and International Association of Engineers.
He has an academic and research career of more than 24 years in teaching Computer Science and Engineering. He has also served as the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Punjabi University.
Apart from being a member of the Academic Council of Punjabi University, he has also been the Chairman of the Board of Studies of Computer Science and Engineering. He has started the ACM Student Chapter and Oracle Academy in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Punjabi University, Patiala. Dr. Maini has two patents registered in his name.
