Garhshankar: Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Punjab founder president Satish Kumar Soni and Santokh Singh Joint Secretary Block Garhshankar jointly issued a statement expressing concern over the issue and said that the double warding in Garhshankar has become a cause of trouble for the city residents.
Talking to the press, he said that the warding that has been done by the Municipal Council in Garhshankar for the last one decade is very ambiguous, due to which neither any MLA has paid attention nor any opposition leader has raised his voice. He said that double warding has been done here. If according to the paper and identity papers, each ward is written with a different ward number and when elections come, the number of the same ward is changed to something else.
He said that if we talk about our ward, then our ward is shown as ward number two for correspondence, it is also ward number two on the Aadhar card, but when the municipal council elections come, this ward changes to ward number twelve. This is the case with all the wards of the entire city.
When any inquiry or official correspondence from a person comes, then very troublesome situations arise. Seeing this dilemma of the city residents, he said that looking at this problem seriously, Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society (Regd.) Punjab demands through this press note that the municipal council administration should improve the ward division; wards should be marked according to the Aadhar cards of the residents of the mohalla.
