Trip to various historical places of Delhi by young men/women

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, November 19: Under the orders of Director, Youth Services, Punjab, Chandigarh, Assistant Director, Youth Services, SAS Nagar organized an exposure visit of 45 participants from District SAS Nagar to Delhi, the capital of the country, from November 15 to November 18.

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, November 19: Under the orders of Director, Youth Services, Punjab, Chandigarh, Assistant Director, Youth Services, SAS Nagar organized an exposure visit of 45 participants from District SAS Nagar to Delhi, the capital of the country, from November 15 to November 18. During this exposure visit, the participants were taken to historical places of Delhi like Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, Rakabganj Gurdwara Sahib, Jama Masjid, Birla Mandir, Qutub Minar, Lotus Mandir, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Himayu Tam and Delhi Haat etc.
Captain Mantej Singh Cheema, Assistant Director, Youth Services, SAS Nagar said that by taking the young men/women to the historical places of the country, their historical knowledge has not only increased. They have also got information about the culture of the country.
This four-day exposure visit was attended by Government Senior Secondary School 3B-1; Government Senior Secondary School Derabassi; Government Senior Secondary School Ghandua (Boys); Anees School Kharar; NSS volunteers from Arya Collegiate Senior Secondary School, Kharar; members of Youth Services Club Dar and Baba Makhan Shah Lubana Youth Services Club Lubangadh. In which 14 boys and 26 girls participated.
The staff included Mr. Dheeraj Kumar, Mrs. Varinder Kaur, Mrs. Rano Sidhu, Mrs. Priyanka, Sardar Randhir Singh, Nisha Sharma, Babita etc. The transportation, accommodation and food of the participants were arranged by the department. All the participants were very happy during this program and they asked to continue their efforts to organize similar knowledge enhancement programs in the future.
