Banur/Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, November 18: As per the schedule released by the State Election Commission Punjab, the preliminary publication of voter lists of Ward No. 6 of Municipal Council Banur has been done on 14.11.2024. These voter lists are available for inspection in the office of the Executive Officer Municipal Council.
Giving this information, SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur said that to maintain the sanctity of the voter lists and to ensure that all eligible voters have registered their names in the voter lists, the program has been issued. According to which claims and objections for new votes can be given from 18 November 2024 to 25 November 2024.
The claims and objections will be disposed of by 03 December 2024, after which the final publication of the voter list will be done by 7 December 2024. He informed that eligible voters can give claims and objections for creating, deleting and modifying votes through Form No. 7, 8 and 9 respectively.
He further informed that for the convenience of the general public, special camps are being organized on 20th and 21st November 2024 to receive claims and objections at the Banur Municipal Council office. During which the residents of Ward No. 6 of Nagar Panchayat Banur can fill Form No. 7 for creating vote, Form No. 8 for any objection/deleting vote and Form No. 9 for amendment. These forms are available in the office of the undersigned and the Municipal Council offices of the Officiating Officer or can be downloaded from the website of State Election Commission Punjab sec.punjab.gov.in>"Municipal Elections">"Statutory Forms".
