State General Secretary Seema Rani explained the matter and said that the workers who work 24 hours are being given a mere honorarium of Rs. 2500. If someone dies during duty, no help is given to his family.

Similarly, no gratuity is given at the time of retirement, whereas government employees are given pension, gratuity, leave, ASHA workers who have been sacked should be reinstated immediately, no laws like CSR or Labor Act are applicable on ASHA workers. He said that the Punjab Government should double the honorarium as per its promise and restore the cut allowances; facilities should be given at the time of retirement at par with government employees.
At this time, CITU Punjab President Maha Singh Rodi, Finance Secretary Sucha Singh Ajnala, Vice President Mahinder Kumar Badoan and Gurdev Singh Bagi addressed the Modi government of the Center as anti-Asha workers, anti-labor, anti-farmer. They said that the Modi government of the Center has abolished the labor law and changed it into 4 labor codes. The government is not paying attention to inflation, corruption, unemployment. The Punjab government has run away from its promises.
Finally Saroj Bala thanked them and said that more and more people should join the siege of Parliament on November 29.
