Una, November 13 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal held a meeting with officials at Mai Das Bhawan, Chintpurni on Wednesday to review the facilities and arrangements being provided to the devotees at Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple. During this, he gave directions to all the officials to further improve the facilities and arrangements for the devotees in the temple premises. He also reviewed the smooth functioning of the Sugam Darshan system made to provide better darshan facilities to the devotees in the temple.
After the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that in order to make the darshan of devotees in the temple more convenient, now a fee of Rs 300 has been fixed for each person under the Sugam Darshan slip. This will facilitate easy entry and darshan of the devotees in the temple. Also, the fee for devotees of 65 years and above has been fixed at Rs 100 per person, so that senior citizens also do not face any difficulty in darshan.
Apart from this, the Deputy Commissioner informed that two LED screens will be installed in Amb and Chintapurni for online darshan of Mata Shri Chintapurni, so that the devotees can experience the darshan from a distance. Also, 20 new street lights will also be installed in the panchayats around the temple, which will improve the lighting and security system in the area. The Deputy Commissioner also directed the officials to start the tender process soon for leasing out the Chintapurni Yatri Bhawan.
SDM Amb Sachin Sharma, CMO Dr. Sanjeev Verma, Temple Officer Ajay Kumar and other officials also attended the meeting and discussed various issues.
