Hoshiarpur: There has been information about a big bomb blast in Pakistan's Balochistan. According to the information received, 21 people died and 46 others were injured in the bomb blast near Quetta railway station. The accident is such that the death toll may increase. According to Pakistan's news channel Geo News, the explosion occurred in the booking office when the train was about to reach the platform. The number of casualties can be estimated as the station is usually crowded. The roof of the platform has also been damaged due to this incident.
Police and rescue teams have reached the blast site. An emergency has been declared at the Civil Hospital in Quetta and additional doctors and other support staff have been called.
According to railway officials, Jafar Express was scheduled to reach Peshawar at 9 am. The train had not yet reached the platform when the explosion occurred. Officials told Geo News that the death toll in the blast may rise as many of the injured are in serious condition. According to information, the Balochistan Liberation Army has taken responsibility for this incident, on the other hand, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has criticized this action and said that those who kill innocent people will not be spared.
