Chronic and fatal diseases are getting rid of with yoga: SDM Amit Gupta

Zirakpur (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), November 08, 2024: Started by the Punjab Government with the aim of making life healthy and stress free for the people of the state, CM's Yogashala is now becoming a center of attraction for the common people. The number of people in yoga classes is increasing day by day and people are getting relief from chronic and fatal diseases through yoga asana. These yoga classes are telling people about the importance of yoga.

Zirakpur (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), November 08, 2024: Started by the Punjab Government with the aim of making life healthy and stress free for the people of the state, CM's Yogashala is now becoming a center of attraction for the common people. The number of people in yoga classes is increasing day by day and people are getting relief from chronic and fatal diseases through yoga asana. These yoga classes are telling people about the importance of yoga.
 Expressing this, SDM, Derabsi Amit Gupta said that expert yoga trainers who are at least PG Diploma/Degree holders in Yoga have been engaged for the yoga classes being conducted under CM's Yogashala. A trainer is given 6-6 classes of one hour duration in a day which run from morning till evening.
 He said that trainer Pooja Yadav conducts two classes in the morning at Krishna Enclave, Block A, Dhakoli, Zirakpur; First class from 5.00 to 6.00 am and second class from 6.05 to 7.05 am; 3rd Class at Hermitage Park, Jirakpur from 7.15 am to 8.15 am; 4th Class at Krishna Enclave, Block A, Dhakoli from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm; and Class V at Motia Height Society, Zirakpur from 3.40 to 4.50 p.m.; And the last class of the day is conducted at Krishna Enclave, Block A, Dhakoli, Zirakpur from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
 According to trainer Pooja Yadav, more than 150 participants come to her daily 6 yoga classes, out of which one participant, Harvinder Singh, has reduced his weight with yoga practice and also got rid of stomach gas problems. Knee pain from the second participant Hanspal; And Ranu has been found free from high blood pressure and cervical. From this yoga practice has also led to relief from thyroid and other physical ailments by other participants Anita, Mamta and Soma.
 Apart from this, people suffering from cervical pain, diabetes, BP problem, joint and knee pain and obesity are feeling great relief from these problems. Pooja says that the classes are held 6 days a week and on the day off they are asked to repeat the practice at home on their own. He says that yoga and meditation bring relaxation to the body and mind, so we should make it a part of our life. He said that no fee is charged from those who come to yoga class under CM's Yogashala.
