Garhshankar, November 7 - According to the letter issued by the District Education Officer (AC) Hoshiarpur, the Garhshankar unit of Democratic Teachers Front Punjab has taken strict notice that no teacher will be able to take leave without their approval till December 4.
In a statement to the press, DTF Joint Secretary Mukesh Kumar and Block President Vinay Kumar said that by issuing the letter, teachers are being prevented from taking leave in the name of the project, which the organization will not tolerate in any way. He said that any project can be successful only when its conditions are fulfilled first.
He said that thousands of teacher posts are vacant in schools and one teacher is teaching seven classes of schools and now teachers are getting confused and mentally disturbed due to not getting the syllabus through the CEP project.
Now, on top of that, banning them from taking leave for this test is against the rules of CSR. He demanded from the higher officials that this letter should be withdrawn immediately. The leaders said that if this letter is not withdrawn, the organization will wage a fierce struggle.
At this time DTF leaders Hans Raj Gadhshanker, Balkar Singh Maghania, Manjit Singh Banga, Jarnail Singh, Ajmer Singh, Harpinder Singh etc. were present.
