Garhshankar - Today, while delivering gas through gas companies, OTP is demanded after which a gas cylinder is given. That is a very wrong decision of the gas companies It should be withdrawn keeping in view the public interest. This demand was made by Satish Kumar Soni, founder president of Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Punjab while talking to the press.
He said that for a long time gas cylinders were freely supplied as per the requirement of the user; And the cylinder was easily accessible to the user. Now the OTP code is requested from the delivery man while making the supply. On one hand, the government warns users not to share OTP; Because the fear of its misuse remains. Reports of that abuse keep coming.
Delivery men of gas companies are mostly NRIs. How right they are to believe; Everyone knows this very well. This may lead to fear of black market in gas supply. Because users who are working profession may be forced to buy cylinders by increasing 100 to 150 rupees due to not getting gas cylinders on time.
During the last few times, they have suffered from this black market. He said that the Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society through the medium of the Punjab Press demands from the state and central governments that the OTP system should be closed during gas supply; And ensure uninterrupted supply to gas consumers.
