Una, 5 November - Divyangi Evaluation Camp for the disabled of Sub Divisional Haroli was organized in Haroli Civil Hospital in collaboration with District Red Cross Society Una and State Bank of India in collaboration with the Indian Artificial Limb Construction Corporation (Alimco) Chandigarh. The camp was chaired by Haroli SDM Vishal Sharma.
During this, the SDM said that 20 disabled people registered in the disabled evaluation camp, out of which 11 eligible disabled persons have been evaluated by specialist doctors and selected to apply prostheses. With the help of these accessories and prostheses, the disabled will once again be able to live life with self -reliance and respect in the society. He said that many welfare schemes are being run by the government through departments. Eligible disabled people can take advantage of these schemes and live their respectable lives.
In this episode, Divyangi Evaluation Camps will be organized in the subdivision Bangana office under Bangana on 6 November at the subdivision Bangana office, on November 7 under Ambal Sub Division and on November 8 at the Sub Divisional Office Gagret under Gagret.
Specialists from ELIMCO including Tehsil Welfare Officer Jatindra Kumar were present on the occasion.
