During the two-day Chhinj fair held on November 1 and 2, wrestlers Ajay Waran, Manjeet Khatri, Jagga Alamgir, Mankaran Dumchedi, Shanveer Kohli, Irfan Mullanpur, Gurjant Mawa, Baj Rony, Sujal Phagwara, Lucky Garcha, Sonu Delhi, Sumit Khanna, Bholu Una, Babu Paragpur, Razzaq Lalian, Teja Delhi, Fateh Mand Chaunta along with famous akhadas of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan participated and showed their wrestling talent.
Sarpanch Shri Somnath Rana thanked various religious, social and political personalities of the area as well as wrestling lovers from far and wide.
With the support of Chhinj Committee headed by Sarpanch Somnath Rana and all the elders of Rajput community, this wrestling competition was organized in the playground adjacent to the ancient Siddh Baba Balak Nath temple. While all the citizens worked tirelessly for the successful organization of this Chhinj fair, the NRI heroes also made valuable contribution from their honest earnings.
Vijay Rana (Chandigarh) performed his responsibility very well in the selection of wrestlers. Karmadin Chak Saboo, a famous speaker of Kabaddi and wrestling world, delighted the wrestling lovers with his sweet voice.
