Patiala, October 29 - Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav arrived at Mata Khivi Old Age Home on Main-Sular Road here to celebrate Diwali. On this occasion, he distributed sweets to the elders and wished them Diwali After meeting the elderly living at Mata Khivi Old Age Home one by one, he got to know their condition and assured them that whenever they need any kind of administrative assistance, they can feel free to visit them.
The Deputy Commissioner said that he and the entire district administration are always ready to help their citizens and especially the elderly. He said that if anyone has any problem or problem, he can contact him directly. He prayed to God that all the elderly be healthy, Diwali be full of happiness and the coming year be full of happiness for them. Elders also blessed the Deputy Commissioner and wished him happiness and progress.
The Deputy Commissioner also provided warm clothes, lois, shawls and other necessary items to the old age home. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Navreet Kaur Sekhon, Mata Khivi Old Age Home Manager Gurbaksh Singh and Caretaker Ravinder Singh were also present on this occasion.
