Department of Computer Science and Applications of Modern Group of Colleges conducted an industry visit to the company Kochhar Infotech Ltd., Amritsar.

Kochhar Infotech, founded in 2003, is a leading company in the technology sector, serving Fortune 500 companies, MNCs, and unicorn start-ups in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. With a workforce of over 3500 employees, the company has made significant contributions to the tech industry.
The students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Akshit Soni, Lead Business Development, who provided them with an insightful introduction to the various cutting-edge technologies being used in the firm. During the visit, the students toured the company's facilities, interacted with software developers, and explored the server infrastructure managed by Cochartech. This hands-on exposure provided students with valuable insight into the workings of a technology company and the processes involved in software development.
Dr. Kamal Kishore, along with Mr. Parminder Singh, guides the students throughout the tour, helping to facilitate industry interaction and bridging the gap between academic and practical knowledge. Dr. Kamal, sharing his perspective, emphasized that the main objective of the visit was to expose students to emerging technologies and potential job opportunities in the tech sector.
Principal of Modern Group of Colleges Dr. Jatinder Kumar, Associate Dean Prof. Sukhjinder Singh and Head of Department Mechanical Engineering Dr. Ranjit Singh congratulated Dr. Kamal Kishore and the entire team on the successful completion of the industrial visit.
