Hoshiarpur - With a view to complete the process of Chabewal Vidhan Sabha by-election in a transparent and fair manner, Expenditure Observer Soren Jose appointed by Election Commission of India today inspected various election related cells. During the inspection, the observer Soren Jose thoroughly reviewed the MCMC (Media Certification and Monitoring Committee), C-Vigil Cell, Complaint Cell and other cells established at district and returning officer level apart from webcasting.
 He discussed with the officers of these cells and inspected their procedures and preparations. Observer Soren Jose paying special attention to the work of the MCMC cell said that the MCMC team kept a special watch on paid news, bulk SMS and social media. So that the election expenditure limit prescribed by the candidates can be followed and any kind of misinformation can be avoided.
 Speaking to the webcasting team, he asked them to ensure the quality of the live feed on the day of the election and to be ready to solve technical problems. While inspecting the complaint cell, Mr. Jose directed the officers to resolve all the complaints received during the elections quickly and fairly. He also said that every election-related complaint should be given priority attention and the complainant should be informed about the solution.
Soren Jose appealed to all the cells to carry out the entire process through teamwork for the fair conduct of the elections. Meanwhile, Chabewal Vidhan Sabha Assistant Expenditure Observer Naresh Kumar and others were also present with him.
