Any such incident should be reported immediately. ADC said that according to the micro plan made for stubble management, access should be made to every farmer and farmers should be made aware of the damage caused to soil, environment, health, birds and animals by burning stubble.
He said that the cluster officers should keep in touch with the farmers of the villages under them and the machinery required by the farmers for stubble management through in-situ and ex-situ should also be made available by contacting the concerned department. He said that now the harvesting work is going on in full force and the fields have to be prepared by the farmers for sowing wheat, so contact should be kept with the farmers so that they do not have to face any kind of difficulty for stubble management.
