Mr Agnihotri said this while presiding over the Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar program organized in Baliwal Gram Panchayat of Haroli Assembly constituency on Saturday. On this occasion, he resolved public problems on the spot and resolved the demands and requests of the public.
Baliwal will become the leader of development, irrigation scheme worth Rs 70 crore for Beet area
The Deputy Chief Minister said that with the many development projects in Baliwal area, this area will be the leader in development in the coming times. He said that Beet Kshetra Sinchai Yojna-2 is being constructed with the objective of providing better irrigation facilities to the farmers. Baliwal area has also been included in this scheme of Rs. 70 crores. Apart from this, work on a water scheme worth Rs. 62 crores is also being done in Beet area.
He informed that work is progressing rapidly on 4 important projects of Jal Shakti Department worth Rs. 28 crores in Haroli. These include water schemes of Pubowal, Baliwal, Haroli and Naganoli.
Apart from this, work is going on in Baliwal area on three important schemes of Jal Shakti Department worth Rs 21 crore. These include Asian Development Bank's scheme for Baliwal worth Rs 7.80 crore, Haroli-Panjuana scheme worth Rs 10 crore and NABARD's scheme worth Rs 2.83 crore.
5 big storage tanks have been built to strengthen the drinking water system in Baliwal area. These include water storage tanks of 1 lakh litre capacity in Baliwal, 40 thousand litres each in Jodian, Bhanewal and Panjuana and 20 thousand litres in Gujranwala.
Punjuana-Poliyan road will be constructed with 42 crores
Mr Agnihotri said that an amount of Rs 42 crore has been sanctioned for the Punjaana to Polian via Kutharbit road. In this, an amount of Rs 12.50 crore will be spent on land acquisition for road construction. At the same time, Rs 4.65 crore will be spent on the road from Gidgidasaheb to Tahlisaheb via Baba Bharthari Mandir. Its tender process is underway. Apart from this, Rs 35 lakh will be spent on various road works in Baliwal. Works worth Rs 52 lakh have been done under MNREGA in the Panchayat.
He said that work is being done to replace wires and poles to strengthen the power supply system in the area. Rs 25 lakh has been spent on these works in Baliwal area. On the demand of the people, he directed to lay 3 phase power line to solve the voltage problem in Singha Da Mohalla and Bhanewal Gurudwara.
Taru Ram and Neelam Kaur got houses on the spot
In the program, when the Deputy Chief Minister was faced with the problem of Taru Ram of ward number 7 of Baliwal and Neelam Kaur of ward number 5 not having a permanent house to live in, he approved houses for them under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme in both the cases on the spot. He instructed the concerned officials to complete all the formalities regarding this. Both the beneficiaries, overjoyed with the happiness of getting the house, praised the Government Gaon Ke Dwar program and thanked the Deputy Chief Minister.
Shri Agnihotri informed that under the housing scheme, financial assistance has been provided to 42 eligible people in the area for building pucca houses.
18 crores are being spent on renovating the ancient ponds
The Deputy Chief Minister said that there are many ancient ponds in Haroli area. The focus has been on their conservation and beautification. Rs 18 crore is being spent on renovating the ponds. At the same time, ponds are being beautified in Pubowal and Dulahad with Rs 2 crore each.
Speed ??up the construction work of Bulk Drug Park
Mr Agnihotri said that the Bulk Drug Park project under construction in Haroli Assembly constituency will give a new direction to the industrial scenario of Himachal as well as provide employment to thousands of people. The infrastructural construction work of the project is being carried forward at a fast pace. The Central and Himachal governments will invest Rs 1000 crore each in this project to be built at a cost of Rs 2000 crore in an area of ??1405 acres. The Himachal government has taken the responsibility of operating it. This will take the industrial development of the state to new heights as well as achieve self-sufficiency in pharmaceutical production.
CCTV surveillance in every nook and corner of Haroli
Mr Agnihotri said that no criminal will be able to escape after committing a crime in Haroli assembly constituency. CCTV surveillance has been ensured in the entire area by spending Rs 2 crore. To make the security system foolproof, CCTVs have been installed at all the entry gates, main roads, important places, intersections and markets of the assembly constituency. This initiative is an important step from the point of view of ensuring the security of the area and effective control over crimes.
New dimensions of development in Haroli
He said that an automatic vehicle testing centre will soon be set up at Roda in Haroli at a cost of Rs 5 crore, where computerised vehicle testing facility will be available. Apart from this, the construction work of a traffic park at a cost of Rs 8 crore and a rest house at a cost of Rs 7 crore is also progressing rapidly. He said that a bus stand is being constructed at a cost of Rs 6 crore in Haroli.
Mr Agnihotri said that education and health facilities are also improving continuously in Haroli area. The Deputy Chief Minister said that 11 new doctors have been posted for specialist services in the 100-bed hospital in Haroli. The building of Dr Simmi Agnihotri Government PG College in Haroli is also almost ready and classes for MA and professional courses will also start from the next academic session.
25 lakhs for Shri Guru Ravidas Temple
The Deputy Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs 25 lakh for the construction of Shri Guru Ravidas Temple in Baliwal. On this occasion, he also distributed aid to the needy under the CM Relief Fund. He observed the development exhibitions set up by various departments in the program. A free health check-up camp was also organized on this occasion. Aabha cards of people were also made on the spot.
....The officers will remain in the village until the last person is satisfied
The Deputy Chief Minister, while directly interacting with the people in the program, said that the aim of all development works is to bring ease in the lives of the people. While taking feedback from the people about the drinking water, road and electricity works being done in the area, he said that the officers will remain stationed in the village until the people are 100% satisfied with these works. He directed all the officers to do all the works of public development on priority.
Shri Agnihotri said that his aim is the complete development of the area. He does not believe in installing nameplates. Rather, he believes in rising above party politics and inscribing his name in the hearts of the people by working without any discrimination.
