NSS PEC Organized Blood Donation Camp in Collaboration with PGIMER

Chandigarh: 23rd October, 2024: The National Service Scheme (NSS) cell of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh organized a Blood Donation Camp on 23rd October, 2024. This was arranged in collaboration with Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. This noble initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, contributing to saving lives.

Chandigarh: 23rd October, 2024: The National Service Scheme (NSS) cell of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh organized a Blood Donation Camp on 23rd October, 2024. This was arranged in collaboration with Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. This noble initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, contributing to saving lives. 
This camp was graced by the presence of Dr. Nemi Chand, the State Liaison Officer (NSS) for Chandigarh accompanied by Dr. D.R. Prajapati, Dean of students Affairs, and Dr. Sandeep Kaur (Coordinator, NSS), Dr. Mohit Kumar (Co-coordinator, NSS), Dr. Mayank Gupta (Co-coordinator, NSS) and Dr. Rattan Lal (Co-coordinator, NSS). During the event, they interacted with the donors and felicitated the star donors who had been consistently donating their blood in the donation drives and camps previously held in the campus. 
Dr. Nemi Chand appreciated the efforts of PEC towards social service and encouraged them to come up with newer initiatives to contribute positively to the society. A total of 150+ units of blood was collected, reflecting the spirit and community service amongst the staff and students of PEC. This initiative by NSS-PEC was highly appreciated by one and all, reinforcing PEC's commitment towards making a change in the world.
