Sahitya Vigyan Kendra (Reg:) Chandigarh annual grand program

Sahitya Vigyan Kendra Chandigarh organized an excellent annual program at Community Center Sector 42 The chief guest of which was Mr. KK Sharda, President of Punjab Haryana Khadi Mandal Eminent writer Mr. Prem Vijji presided. In the beginning, Public Secretary Mrs. Davinder Kaur Dhillon welcomed all the guests and audience and explained the purpose of today's program.

The president of the center Mr. Gurdarshan Singh Mavi said that the annual program is unique because it has tried to show Punjabi culture through choreography, song-music, skit and jago. The program started with a religious song by Gurdas Singh Das who arrived from Pinjore. Choreography "Punjab Di Mitti" was beautifully performed by Davinder Kaur Dhillon, Malkit Kaur Basra, Narinder Kaur Longia, Charanjit Kaur Bath, Ramandeep Kaur, Jyoti.
After Surjit Singh Dhir's ghazal, Narinder Singh and Narinder Kaur Longia danced to a Punjabi song. Balwinder Singh Dhillon, Ratan Babakwala, Boor Singh, Dr. Manjit Singh Ball, Darshan Singh Sidhu, Labh Singh Lahli, Tarsem Raj danced to various Punjabi songs and showed their talent. "Gadwa Le De Chandi Da", "Hoya Ki Je Kudi An Tu, Delhi Shahr Di", "Pandat Ji Ki Ih Lal Mera..." etc., captivated everyone by choreographing in the group.
A character play "Bego Nar" was presented by Darshan Singh Teeuna. Gurdarshan Singh Mavi and Darshan Teeuna presented a skit "Chlak Naukar". In the end "Jago" kept everyone nailed. The stage was managed by Mr. Gurdarshan Singh Mavi in ??an efficient manner. On this occasion, Manpreet Kaur, Balkar Sidhu, Dr. Avtar Singh Patang, Harbhajan Kaur Dhillon, Gurmail Singh Maujouwal and about eighty dignitaries were present from Mumbai.
