Paramedical Department of Desh Bhagat University celebrated Anesthesia Day

Mandi Gobindgarh, October 19 - Desh Bhagat University's Department of Paramedical Sciences celebrated Anesthesia Day by highlighting the important role of anesthesia in modern medicine. Apart from educational workshops, demonstrations, there were also guest lectures aimed at educating students, faculty and the community about the importance of anesthesia in surgical procedures and patient care.

Mandi Gobindgarh, October 19 - Desh Bhagat University's Department of Paramedical Sciences celebrated Anesthesia Day by highlighting the important role of anesthesia in modern medicine. Apart from educational workshops, demonstrations, there were also guest lectures aimed at educating students, faculty and the community about the importance of anesthesia in surgical procedures and patient care.
The resource person on this occasion was Deepanshu Sharma (Faculty of Allied Health Sciences). They imparted knowledge about various hospital facilities like OPD, IPD, ICU, medicines etc. All graduate students of Paramedical Sciences participated in this program. After this, Dr. Atul Khajuria started the program by welcoming the chief guest, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Tajinder Kaur, and Chancellor's Advisor, Dr. Varinder Singh. The inaugural session began with the address of Dr. Khajuria.
He said that anesthesia is not just about controlling pain; It's about ensuring a safe surgical experience for patients. On this occasion, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University Dr. Zora Singh said that he is very happy to create awareness about the important contribution of anesthesiologists. He added that the program promotes learning and also encourages students to explore careers in this vital field.
