CM di Yogshala helping Residents of Mohali to recuperate from chronic diseases

SAS Nagar, October 18, 2024: In a bid to keep people hale and hearty by making them aware of yoga asanas, the yoga sessions undertaken under CM di Yogshala helping a lot Mohali city residents.

SAS Nagar, October 18, 2024: In a bid to keep people hale and hearty by making them aware of yoga asanas, the yoga sessions undertaken under CM di Yogshala helping a lot Mohali city residents.
       Divulging the details, the district nodal officer for CMDY (CM di Yogshala), T Benith, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Mohali said that the yoga camps are being organized in a row to cover each and every part of the city.
       Giving details of the locations of Phase 3B1, Phase 4 and Phase 6, where yoga trainer Shivnetar Singh has been holding five classes daily starting from 5:00 am in the morning to 6:35 pm.
      He said that the yoga sessions assist people to come out of chronic diseases like diabetes, depression, cervical, and joint pains and high BP problems and the people who are attending the classes regularly have been endorsing it.
       Yoga Trainer Shivnetar Singh who holds Post graduate diploma in yoga after having a BA BEd, adds that he starts his first Class at Phase 3b1 (Park no.20) from Class time 5 am to 6 am. The second class is held at phase 4’s park number 12 from 6.05 am to 7.05 am. The third class conducted at the park no. 23 of phase 6 7.15 am to 8.15 am. In the afternoon timings, a yoga class is held at park no 25 og Phase 6 from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm while at the park no. 20 of phase 6 from 5.35 pm to 6.35 pm.
     The participants from various yoga classes Diljeet Kaur, Sojayne Singh, Pritpal Singh from phase 3b1, Davinder Kaur, Indu, Balwinder  Bathla, Sanjita from phase 4 and
D P Singh, Lakshmi Kumar Sharma and Harish Kumar from Phase 6 while endorsing the positive impact of yoga classes said that the yoga asanas being imparted under the CM di Yogshala program have changed their life by healing them physically as well as mentally.
      District Supervisor CM di Yogshalq, Pratima Dawar said that the classes taken under CMDY have no fees. The new entrants just have to register on the CM di Yogshala portal and join the class in their nearby area.
