Supreme Court Judge Justice Suryakant inaugurates judicial complex Amb

Amb (Una), October 13 - Supreme Court Judge Justice Suryakant on Sunday inaugurated the multi-storey judicial complex built at a cost of Rs 17.16 crore in Amb. This state-of-the-art complex has 6 court rooms, 2 bar rooms, library, and toilet facilities for men and women. There are also special arrangements for the convenience of the citizens visiting the complex.

Amb (Una), October 13 - Supreme Court Judge Justice Suryakant on Sunday inaugurated the multi-storey judicial complex built at a cost of Rs 17.16 crore in Amb. This state-of-the-art complex has 6 court rooms, 2 bar rooms, library, and toilet facilities for men and women. There are also special arrangements for the convenience of the citizens visiting the complex.
On this occasion, Himachal Pradesh High Court Judge Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Una Division Administrative Judge Justice Jyotsna Rewal Dua and other judges were also present. It is noteworthy that Justice Suryakant had laid the foundation stone of this judicial complex in the year 2019 while being the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.
In his address, Justice Suryakant expressed happiness over the inauguration of the judicial complex Amb and described it as a revolutionary step towards the development of the judicial system in Himachal Pradesh. Emphasizing the construction of more and more judicial complexes, he emphasized the need to adopt a human approach towards every person coming to the court.
He emphasized on the maximum use of digital technology in the functioning of all courts. He said that geographical boundaries are no longer a barrier through the facility of online hearing with the use of e-technology in the Supreme Court of India, making access to justice easy for all. Along with this, lawyers of various district and sub-divisional bars of the country are also getting experience of the work of the Supreme Court.
Justice Suryakant also advised the Amb Bar Association to make maximum use of e-technology and develop an e-library. He praised the work culture of the judicial community of Himachal Pradesh and described it as one of the most dedicated communities in the country.
During this, in his address, Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan appreciated the contribution of all from time to time in the construction of the judicial complex Amb. He said that judicial complexes play an important role in improving administrative efficiency and ensuring easy access to justice to all people, so that the justice system can be strengthened.
Justice Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge of Himachal Pradesh High Court and Administrative Judge of Una Division, while welcoming all the guests including the Chief Guest, threw light on the historical background of Una district. Sharing important information related to the construction of judicial complex Amb, she described it as an important step towards the expansion of the justice system and administrative reform. She felicitated Chief Guest Justice Suryakant and Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan.
At the same time, District and Sessions Judge Una Naresh Kumar Thakur, while welcoming all the guests, felicitated Justice Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Administrative Judge of Una Division and all the judges of Himachal Pradesh High Court present in the program.
On this occasion, Advocate General Anoop Ratan on behalf of the state government and Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on behalf of the district administration felicitated the chief guest and all the guests by presenting a replica of the temple of Mata Shri Chintapurni Ji and Mata's Chunari.
In the program, President of Amb Bar Association Naresh Thakur expressed gratitude to all the guests who attended the program and felicitated all the guests including the chief guest along with Vice President of Amb Bar Association Venus Jaswal and Secretary Purna Gautam.
On this occasion, Justice Vivek Singh Thakur, Justice Ajay Mohan Goyal, Justice Sandeep Sharma, Justice Satyen Vaidya, Justice Sushil Kukreja, Justice Virendra Singh, Justice Ranjan Sharma, Justice Bipin Chandra Negi, and Justice Rakesh Kainthala were present. On this occasion, Registrar General Bhupesh Sharma, Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh, SDM Amb Sachin Sharma, Una Bar Association President Sanjeev Kumar Phanda along with judicial officers, advocates and other dignitaries were present.
