Patra, October 12 - SDM Patra Ashok Kumar reviewed the ongoing purchase of paddy in Ghagga Anaj Mandi. On this occasion, he instructed the procurement agencies to ensure the simultaneous purchase of paddy in the markets and also to carry out the lifting of the purchased paddy from the markets.
The SDM instructed the inspectors of the purchasing agencies that the purchase of the farmer's commodity should be done immediately after installing the fan etc. at the time of arrival in the market. Ashok Kumar also appealed to the farmers to bring their dry goods in the market So that they do not have to sit in the market for a long time.
Talking to the farmers on this occasion, he said that the administration is smart and the farmers bringing their goods to the markets will not be allowed to face any kind of problem. Urging the farmers to adopt in situ and ex situ techniques for stubble management, he said that the Punjab government has prepared 'Unnat Kisan' mobile app to provide machinery to the farmers through which farmers can book the machinery available near them for stubble management.
