SAS Nagar, March 19: Horse and mare competitions were held in village Manakpur Kalar under the leadership of former Sarpanch S. Karam Singh and Kala Manakpur Kalar.
On the occasion, District President of Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangathan wrestler Amarjit Singh Gill attended as the chief guest. He said that the villagers have revived an old tradition by holding horse and mare competitions. He also contributed ?11000 to the organizers on the occasion.
He was accompanied by Chacha Chaman Lal, former Sarpanch Gurdeep Singh Dai, Satnam Singh Bathlana, Billu Dai, Sanjay Thakur Body Booster Gym Sohana, Ladi Dai, Teji Chilla, Vicky Mohali and other dignitaries.
