DC Preeti Yadav reached Bhankhar, Dakala and Devinagar to motivate the farmers

Patiala, October 1 - Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav and Patiala district administration has landed in the field to make the farmers of Patiala district aware of the timely availability of machinery for stubble management.

Patiala, October 1 - Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav and Patiala district administration has landed in the field to make the farmers of Patiala district aware of the timely availability of machinery for stubble management.
The Deputy Commissioner today visited Bhankhar, Dakala and Devinagar villages which were hot spots last year and while talking to the farmers, he said that to manage the stubble, the farmers need any equipment like baler, chopper, super seeder and surface seeder for in situ and ex situ. Machinery will be provided if needed.
Dr. Preeti Yadav said that the entire district administration has reached the fields to persuade the farmers not to burn stubble and other waste in their fields. He said that all SDMs and officials of agriculture, revenue, panchayat department, Punjab fire service and cooperative societies are going to the fields and talking to the farmers. On this occasion, ADC Navreet Kaur Sekhon, Chief Agriculture Officer Jaswinder Singh, Ravinderpal Singh Chatha were also present with him.
While visiting the villages, Deputy Commissioner Dr Preeti Yadav interacted with the farmer who was making bales with baler at village Bala and encouraged the farmer.
