Hoshiarpur - On the occasion of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh's birthday today, District Planning Committee Hoshiarpur Chairperson Karamjit Kaur and Backward Classes Land Development and Finance Corporation (BACFINCO) Chairman Sandeep Saini paid tribute by offering floral wreaths to his statue at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk in Hoshiarpur. Hundreds of citizens, local leaders and dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

On this occasion, District Planning Committee Chairperson Karamjit Kaur in her address said that Bhagat Singh's sacrifice and his dedication towards the country can never be forgotten. She said that S: Bhagat Singh sacrificed his life for the freedom of the country, we should take inspiration from his principles. 
She invited the youth to follow the path shown by S: Bhagat Singh and contribute to the development of the country. Backward Classes Land Development and Finance Corporation (BACFINCO) Chairman Sandeep Saini said that Sardar Bhagat Singh was not only a great warrior of the freedom struggle but was also a strong supporter of the ideals of equality, justice and freedom.
Today his thoughts and principles are more relevant than ever and we need to implement them in our lives. A large number of people attended the tribute ceremony and everyone paid tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh and pledged to implement his ideals in their lives.
