Una, September 28 - A one-day workshop will be organized by the Department of Digital Technology and Governance on October 1 at the Skill Development Center located at Palakwah in Una district. This workshop will focus on the topic of bringing technology closer to the people. The workshop, to be chaired by Abhishek Jain, Secretary, Digital Technology and Governance Department, Government of Himachal Pradesh, aims to make the government officials, entrepreneurs, students and academicians of the district aware and enhance their understanding about citizen-centric digital applications and emerging technologies. Giving information about this, the government spokesperson said that the workshop will discuss topics such as citizen-centric applications and their importance, promoting entrepreneurship through digital technologies, its use for income generation and self-employment, digital literacy and efforts to reduce the digital divide in Himachal Pradesh and the use and possibility of artificial intelligence in governance. The program will organize panel discussions and interactive sessions, where participants will deliberate on improving government services, empowering governance and promoting entrepreneurship through digital technologies. Around 250 participants are expected to attend the workshop, which will include officials from various departments, LMK operators, students and entrepreneurs.
