Women were made aware through nutrition awareness camp in Haroli

This nutrition awareness camp was presided over by SDM Haroli Rajiv Thakur. During this, a nutrition rally was also taken out in which Anganwadi workers and students of Haroli College participated.

In the awareness camp, DPO ICDS Narendra Kumar said that the Nutrition Month is based on five themes which include anemia, growth monitoring, supplementary diet, nutrition as well as education and technology for better administration. He said that the main objective of the campaign is to make adolescents, pregnant women and lactating women aware about the prescribed nutrition and to provide them proper nutrition. Like every year, this year also, various programs are being organized by Women and Child Development at Anganwadi level, supervisor circle level and project level to save the targeted groups from malnutrition.
During this, Project Officer Shiv Singh gave detailed information to the women and students about the importance of Nutrition Month. He said that for better physical development, it is very important to take a diet rich in minerals and calcium. After this, Professor Vindiya Chandel and Shankutala Rana of Government College Haroli conducted yoga for the women and students present in the camp.
On this occasion, Supervisor Neelam Saini, Pushpa Devi, Nutrition Block Coordinator Jyoti Sharma, retired CDPO Kuldeep Singh Dayal and other dignitaries were present.
