Hoshiarpur - An important meeting of Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Hoshiarpur (regd.) was held under the chairmanship of President Jasbir Singh Dhiman, in which all the members of the Sabha participated. General Secretary Dr. Jaswant Rai, while giving information about the history of the Sabha to the new students who attended the meeting, said that Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Hoshiarpur, registered with the Central Punjabi Writers Association, has been associated with literary, social and cultural concerns since 1969.
On this occasion, he introduced all the members of the Sabha and made them aware of their literary activities. In the subsequent phase of work, Dr. Shamsher Mohi, Hardayal Hoshiarpuri, Surinder Kangvi, Tirth Chand Saroa, Harvinder Sabi, Lecturer Lakhwinder Ram, Deputy Commander Maninder Singh Heera, Principal Gurdayal Singh Phool, Jaswant Singh left a good impression by reciting ghazals and poems. Dr. Jaswant Roy read the story 'Ek Batti Wala Meter', Dr. Darshan Singh read 'Ale Pya Chirag', Satish Kumar read 'Prasad' and Bhupinder Kaur read 'Gulabi Rang'.
While giving her opinion on the stories read, well-known storyteller Tripta K Singh said that all the stories are related to social concerns and have the amazing ability to keep the reader engaged. My best wishes to all the storytellers. On this occasion, Jitendra Prince of GBC Channel and journalist Cheema recorded the entire function of Sahitya Sabha. Sabha's president Jasbir Singh Dhiman gave his emotional comments on the presentation and expressed his gratitude to the writers and literature lovers who had come.
