Dehradun, September 16 - Two sisters waded into the strong current of the Ganga to save their younger brother from drowning in Haripur Kalan, a village near here. Police said that the incident took place at 11:30 am at Geeta Kutir Ghat, where a woman was bathing with five children. Meanwhile, nine-year-old Suraj was washed away by the strong current of water, to save him, his two sisters Sakshi (15) and Vaishnavi (13) jumped into the water. They saved his brother by pushing him to the bank of the river, but They herself was washed away by the strong current of water. Immediately after receiving the information, the police tried to search the river with rescue teams, but the two sisters have not been found yet.
