4 seats reserved in medical colleges for children of terrorism victims - Deputy Commissioner

Jalandhar - Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has allotted 4 seats of MBBS in various medical colleges of central pool during the academic session 2024-25 for candidates from the category of terrorism affected common citizens of all states.

Giving information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal said that among the medical colleges/institutions in which these seats have been allotted, one in AN Magadh Medical College in Gaya (Bihar), one in Grant Medical College in Mumbai (Maharashtra). And two seats are reserved in Raipur (Chhattisgarh) JNM Medical College.
He said that therefore, children from families affected by terrorism, who have the necessary qualification for MBBS, can apply. He said that for this the candidate should have 50 percent marks in general category and 40 percent marks in SC, ST, OBC in medical subjects of class 12. Candidate must have 50% marks for General category and 40% marks for SC, ST and OBC in NET paper.
The Deputy Commissioner said that eligible candidates can send their applications to Rajeev Kumar, Under Secretary (CT-2), Room No. 81, CTCR Division, North Block, New Delhi before September 17. Also by scanning the application and related documents
