Annual sports competition organized in Khalsa College Dumeli.

Hoshiarpur- Annual sports competition was organized in Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Dumeli, an educational institution run under Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur and Coordinator Prof. Amarpal Kaur, Prof. Ramandeep, Physical Education Department, in which the students of the college participated in games like relay race, three legged race, chaati race, sack race, rope jumping, sit-ups, tug of war, lemon spoon race, 100 meter race, slow cycling, fast cycling, shooting, shot put, javelin etc.

The sports competition was started by announcing the name of the college and releasing pigeons. Various games were organized for the boys and girls of the college in the sports competition. The winning students were honored with gold, silver and bronze medals. Apart from this, the Best Athlete Boy Trophy was given to Tarun Sidhu and the Best Athlete Girl Trophy was given to Jasveen.
In tug of war, boys and girls teams were awarded with magnificent trophies. On this occasion Principal Dr Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur ji said that games are very important for human life, through which human body can be kept healthy and soul can be purified.
On this occasion Prof Amarpal Kaur thanked the students who had come and said that such games not only provide entertainment but also increase students' love for games. The role of stage secretary was played by Prof Kamaljit Kaur and Prof Damanjit Kaur. On this occasion all the staff members and students were present.
