Bandar Seri Begawan/New Delhi, September 3 - Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Brunei as part of the first leg of his two-nation visit. Where he will hold talks with top leaders of the country to boost bilateral relations, especially commercial and cultural relations. Prime Minister Modi, who arrived in Brunei, was welcomed at the airport by Prince Al-Muhtadi Bilah. Modi will leave Brunei for Singapore on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday left on a three-day visit to two Southeast Asian countries, Brunei Darussalam and Singapore. The Prime Minister said in a statement before his departure, "Today I am going on my first ever bilateral visit to Brunei Darussalam. As we celebrate 40 years of diplomatic relations So I am eagerly waiting to meet the King of the country, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and other members of the royal family, so that the historic relations between the two countries can be taken to new heights.
