Cabinet Minister Jimpa started the renovation of the stadium in village Shergarh

Hoshiarpur - Punjab Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa formally inaugurated the renovation of the stadium in village Shergarh today. This landmark project will cost around Rs 17 lakh and aims to transform the stadium into a modern sports park. Under the renovation, badminton, volleyball and basketball courts will be built in the stadium. Apart from this, a beautiful track for walking and benches for sitting will also be installed, which will be covered from above, so that people can sit here even during rains.

The Cabinet Minister announced that after its completion, a park for children will also be established here. He said that this children's park will provide a safe and suitable place for children to play. He directed the officials that there should not be any deficiency in the quality of work and all the construction works should be completed as per the standards.
Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the completion of this renovation project will not only improve the sports area of ??village Shergarh, but also give a boost to the sports activities for the local youth and children, which will help in their physical and mental development. He said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, he has taken the initiative to establish sports parks, the aim of which is to keep the youth of the state away from drugs and motivate them towards sports. He assured that no loophole will be left in this direction and also thanked the Chief Minister.
On this occasion Mayor Surinder Kumar, BDPO Sukhwinder Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Hardeep Saroa, Sandesh Kumar, Mohanlal Yograj Bains, Sarpanch Jagar, Nirmal Fauji, Tech Raj, Panch Paramjit Kaur, Panch Hardev Singh, Roshan Lal, Harvinder Singh, Daulat Ram, Pawan, Avtar Tari, Pritpal and Ashok Pehlwan were also present.
