DBU's Psycho-Fest 2024 ends up being a celebration of creativity and imagination

Mandi Gobindgarh, April 15 – Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, Desh Bhagat University organized Psycho-Fest 2024. It provided students with an opportunity to showcase their talent and insight through model display and poster making competitions.

The fest explores topics ranging from cognitive processes to mental health in diverse areas of psychology. The event was inaugurated by Chancellor's advisor Dr Virinder Singh. He emphasized its importance in providing students with a platform to express their creativity during the challenges of academic stress.
Director Dr. Devinder Kumar called the Psychology Festival - 2024 a celebration of human intelligence and creativity. Winners of the Model Display Competition - Arshdeep Kaur, Manjit Kumar Singh (1st place), Harpreet Kaur, Manpreet Dhiman, Gudia Rani (2nd place), Munasha Manwire, Mehek Gupta (3rd place) for their unique interpretation of the latest psychological theories. Appreciated
The poster making competition was equally engaging, with students articulating complex psychological concepts using visual art. Dilpreet Kaur and Gurvinder Kaur from the Faculty of Nursing further enhanced their interdisciplinary exchange of ideas.
