High-level team of the government met Dallewal in view of his deteriorating health

Dhabi Gujran/Patiala, December 27- Concerned about the deteriorating health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, a high-level team of the state government and medical experts today appealed to the agitating farmer leader to get necessary treatment for his recovery. Patiala Range DIG Mandeep Singh Sidhu, Deputy Commissioner Dr Preeti Yadav, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr Nanak Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Isha Singh and a team of others met the farmer leader who is on a fast to death and appealed to take care of his health.

Dhabi Gujran/Patiala, December 27- Concerned about the deteriorating health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, a high-level team of the state government and medical experts today appealed to the agitating farmer leader to get necessary treatment for his recovery. Patiala Range DIG Mandeep Singh Sidhu, Deputy Commissioner Dr Preeti Yadav, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr Nanak Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Isha Singh and a team of others met the farmer leader who is on a fast to death and appealed to take care of his health.
The health experts and the high-level team of the state government formed to take care of Dallewal's health offered to get the farmer leader proper treatment. They informed the farmer leader that his health is not good at the moment and it needs immediate attention. Although farmer leader Dallewal and his colleagues rejected the government team’s offer, the high-level team insisted that medical teams from Rajindra Medical College and Mata Kaushalya Hospital, Patiala, have already been deployed to take care of the prominent farmer leader’s health.
The officials asked the farmer leader to continue his agitation but appealed to him to take necessary medicines and fluids for his health as his life is very important for the country. They also gave the farmer leader the option of being shifted to Rajindra Medical College or Mata Kaushalya Hospital along with a volunteer. The high-level team also informed the farmer leader that medical teams are on duty 24 hours a day at the protest site and two Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances are present at the protest site 24/7 (all the time).
This ambulance has all the necessary medicines and equipment for life support and care, including ECG monitor, defibrillator, ventilator, suction machine, mask oxygen, intravenous fluid administration equipment, respiratory intubation equipment, catheterization materials are available and functional. He also appealed to the farmer leader to shift to the temporary hospital which is equipped with all emergency medicines and equipment and this hospital has been set up just 700 meters from his platform. The high-level team said that a team of expert doctors has been deployed 24 hours at the makeshift hospital. On this occasion, Medical Superintendent and Chairman of the Board of Government Medical College and Rajindra Hospital Dr. Girish Sahni, Civil Surgeon Dr. Jatinder Kansal and Medical Superintendent of Mata Kaushalya Hospital Dr. Jagpal Inder Singh were also present.
