Chandigarh, July 24 - Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini has approved the opening of a new sub-health centre in Nathera village of Rewari.
She said that this health centre will be set up on available panchayat land and its objective will be to strengthen primary health services in rural areas. This centre will provide essential health services like maternal and child care, vaccination, disease prevention and basic treatment to the local population.
The Health and Family Welfare Minister said that this project is part of an important announcement made by Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, which reflects the proactive vision of the state government to strengthen the health service infrastructure across Haryana.
He said that this initiative is not just about infrastructure, but about empowering citizens with better health outcomes. By bringing healthcare closer to home, the government is reducing the burden on remote hospitals and making healthcare more inclusive. Our goal is that no family in Haryana has to travel far for basic medical care. This new centre is a step in that direction. The new sub-health centre will have one male Multipurpose Health Worker (MPHW-M), one female Multipurpose Health Worker (MPHW-F) and one helper. The centre will also be equipped with necessary medical infrastructure, equipment and essential medicines.
