Three trucks of relief material sent from Verka Milk Plant Hoshiarpur to flood-affected areas.

Hoshiarpur- Milkfed Punjab is continuously providing relief material to help the families affected by the floods in Punjab. In this regard, three trucks of relief material were sent from Verka Milk Plant, Hoshiarpur to the flood-affected areas today. The relief material was flagged off by Milkfed Punjab Chairman Narinder Singh Shergill.

Hoshiarpur- Milkfed Punjab is continuously providing relief material to help the families affected by the floods in Punjab. In this regard, three trucks of relief material were sent from Verka Milk Plant, Hoshiarpur to the flood-affected areas today. The relief material was flagged off by Milkfed Punjab Chairman Narinder Singh Shergill.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Shergill said that dry ration will be delivered to the flood-affected families through these trucks. A relief kit has been prepared for each family, which includes flour, pulses, rice, sugar, salt, dry milk and other essential food items. He said that this step has been taken under the leadership of the Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann Ji.
The Chairman said that providing immediate relief to the flood-affected families is the priority of Milkfed. He said that earlier, VERKA has also sent vehicles carrying ration materials from Mohali, Jalandhar and Sangrur. In the coming days, similar relief materials will be sent from Patiala, Gurdaspur and Amritsar. He said that VERKA employees have also contributed from their salaries to this relief work, which is commendable. Narinder Singh Shergill said that Milkfed Punjab is always ready to serve the people of the state not only for the welfare of farmers and milk producers but also in every hour of crisis. He said that such efforts show Milkfed's social responsibility and sensitivity towards the public.
