Since Jaswant Gill was abroad, this honor was received by his elder brother renowned poet/critic Charanjit Samalsar. After this, where Artinder Sandhu ji welcomed everyone and shared a brief complete information about the activities of Ekam, famous actors Kewal Dhaliwal, Dr. Mohan Tyagi and Surjit Brar shared their invaluable views.
In the poet's court that followed, others including me also shared their works. The stage also honored the poets. There was also an opportunity to interact with famous poet-writer friends from Amritsar, among whom was the famous ghazal poet Sarabjit Singh Sandhu. The program was very successful.
