Leaders and members of Punjab Jail Pensioners Welfare Association also participated in the protest, including Jagmel Singh President, Randhir Singh Mehmi Vice President, Parveen Singh Treasurer, Nahar Singh DSP (Retd.) Sukhwinder Singh DSP (Retd.) Prem Singh Panjola, Police Pensioners Association. Patiala unit of Punjab Pensioners Welfare Association also participated in large numbers under the leadership of President Gurdeep Singh Walia. Speaking on the occasion, Gurdeep Singh Walia and others said that the government is repeatedly changing the dates of talks, which proves that the government does not want to negotiate. He appealed to the government to resolve the demands soon through talks. On this occasion, many pensioner leaders and members including Sukhminder Singh Saini, Darshan Singh Belumajara, Jagjit Singh Dua, Satpal Singh Chambal, Gurmeet Singh Tiwana, Surwinder Singh Chhabra, Paramjit Singh Maggo, Ved Prakash Singla, Joga Singh, Netar Singh, Jasvir Singh Khokhar, Rajinder Singh Dhaliwal, Harbhajan Singh Ladi were present.
