Garhshankar - In a crackdown on the bad guys, drug smugglers as per the directions of Surinder Lamba IPS Sr. Superintendent of Police Hoshiarpur, Sarabjit Singh Bahia SP (Investigation) Hoshiarpur and Parminder Singh Mand Sub Divisional Police Chief, Sub Division Garhshankar, in a major incident, the Police Station Garhshankar under the supervision of SI Baljinder Singh Police Station Garhshankar, seized 506 gms of Heroin and one Digital Kanda and drug money worth Rs. 5500/- in Indian currency notes (11 notes of Rs. 500/- 500 each) from Wahd Rakba Dallewal near Pipliwal road a little ahead of Baba Peer’s place. A case was registered against them under NDPS Act 122 IPC: 20-07-2024 A:/DH: 21 (C)-61-85 and further action was taken. Mussammat Vikas Singh alias Vicky and Rajesh Kumar alias Ghasu are still being questioned and police remand of both is being obtained.
