Bangana (Una), June 10 - The historic district level Peeplu fair to be celebrated in Bangana sub-division of Una district will be organized from June 17 to 19. To ensure the successful organization of the fair, the newly elected MLA of Kutlehar, Vivek Sharma, held a meeting of officials in the Mini Secretariat auditorium on Monday and reviewed the arrangements for the preparations.

*Will invite CM*
Vivek Sharma, while emphasizing on the grand organization of the fair, urged everyone to actively cooperate in it. He said that Chief Minister Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will be invited to inaugurate the fair.
He said that Peeplu fair has a long history. People's faith is attached to it. Along with preserving the ancient traditions, efforts will be made to add newness to its organization, organize new activities and give it a grand form.
Vivek Sharma asked to organize special activities in the fair with a theme showcasing the specialty of the Kutlehar region. He said that to give the fair a grand form, think out of the box. He instructed to take full care of the convenience of the public in the fair.

*Committees formed for organizing the fair*

Various committees have been formed for the successful organization of the district level Peeplu fair. These committees will look after the various arrangements related to the event. Development exhibitions will also be organized by the departments in the fair.

Cultural programs will be held on all three days for the entertainment of the people in the fair. Apart from this, various sports competitions will be organized in the fair. Apart from Chhinj, the main attraction, Kabaddi, Tug of War and Volleyball will be organized. An animal fair will also be organized in it. A colorful souvenir of the fair will also be published.
On this occasion, Tehsildar Amit Kumar conducted the proceedings of the meeting. Officers of various departments of district and sub-division level were present in the meeting. During this, representatives of various Panchayati Raj institutions, Congress state spokesperson Vijay Dogra, Congress Pak Congress Party officials, workers were also present.
