Patiala:- Today, Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi specially arrived at Patiala to campaign in favor of Congress candidate Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi. He addressed a gathering of thousands of women here under the 'Women's Justice Summit'.
Priyanka Gandhi first referred to her association with Punjab and said that I am the daughter-in-law of a Punjabi family and I understand the sense of service, commonality and common good of Punjabi people.
Addressing those women, he said that we own half of this country. Today's woman wants to be a sharer in her family's earnings, get a good job and move forward But the central government is failing to provide women with a safe/and employment environment. Appealing to women, they said to stand up and get the right of equality.
He said that the statements of the Prime Minister of the country are disturbing the dignity of his office. By telling big lies and misleading the people, the Prime Minister sometimes says that the Congress will open your buffalo and sometimes they say that the Congress will take away the Mangalsutra from women, while the oppression of women in their state, the martyred farmers and the abysmal situation in the country. They never open their mouths about unemployment.
But on the contrary, Congress is fighting to save the progress of this country, community and the constitution of the country. 
The Congress has specifically mentioned justice for women in its guarantees, guaranteeing an annual assistance of Rs one lakh to the eldest female member of every needy family and 50% reservation in jobs for women. 
Apart from this, he said that Patiala constituency is lucky to have an honest and fearless person like Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi as a candidate. So they have to be won with a big lead.
Dr. Gandhi said that economic divide, social divisions and political dictatorship are the identity of BJP. It is very important to defeat BJP at the national level.
