
Additional Deputy Commissioner took stock of the progress of development schemes in the pre-Disha meeting
Una, December 3: Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar chaired a pre-Disha meeting on Tuesday to prepare for the upcoming Disha meeting in Una. He reviewed the instructions given in the previous meeting and the progress of centrally sponsored schemes.

During the meeting, the Additional Deputy Commissioner directed all the departmental officers to come fully prepared for the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee 'Disha' meeting to be held on December 7. This meeting will be held at 9.15 am in the District Council Hall under the chairmanship of MP Anurag Thakur. He said that the officers should keep updated data, accurate figures, and a detailed report of the action taken on the instructions given in the previous meeting ready. Also, all the departments were asked to submit this data to their office so that a detailed PPT can be prepared for presentation.
In the meeting, special attention was paid to the progress of works going on under centrally sponsored schemes, rural development projects and MP funds. In this, the status of works related to PGI Satellite Center and Railways was discussed. Apart from this, the progress of schemes like Swachh Bharat Mission, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Irrigation Scheme, Bulk Drug Park, MNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Skill Development Program, National Highway Projects, Ujjwala Yojana and Food Security Act was also reviewed.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to prepare a detailed account of the progress of these schemes as well as the challenges faced in their implementation and their impact. He said that it should be ensured that the data of all the schemes is accurate and updated, so that a clear discussion can be held on the performance of the schemes in the meeting.
Senior officials from various departments of the district attended the meeting and shared the progress and implementation challenges of their respective departments.
