
Government should pay pensioners' dues in full
Rajpura, March 15- The Retired Welfare Pensioners Association Registered organized its monthly meeting, during which the problems of the members were heard and four pensioners were helped to get their due arrears.
Rajpura, March 15- The Retired Welfare Pensioners Association Registered organized its monthly meeting, during which the problems of the members were heard and four pensioners were helped to get their due arrears.
Association Chairman Vijay Taneja and Legal Advisor Gurdeep Singh Bhogal said that the union has been struggling a lot for this arrears. They demanded from the Punjab government that it should be given in one go instead of making a slab of arrears, because pensioners rely on this money only. Therefore, the Punjab government should look into this. They said that the due arrears of four members of the union are to come, one of whom is to get the benefit of this arrears.
During the meeting, it was appealed to the Punjab government that the employees should be given full-time arrears on retirement and not make fun of the pensioners by giving arrears in installments.
Jasbir Singh, Harpreet Singh, Subhash Gupta, Hari Chand Verma, Kashmira Singh and members of the union were present on this occasion, among others.
