On the fourth day of filing nominations, 3 candidates submitted papers

Hoshiarpur - On the fourth day of filing nominations from Lok Sabha constituency Hoshiarpur for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, nomination papers were filed by 3 candidates. Giving this information, Returning Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal said that today Indian National Congress candidate Yamini Gomar, Aam Aadmi Party's Raj Kumar and Bahujan Dravida Party's Jeevan Kumar filed their nomination papers.

Hoshiarpur - On the fourth day of filing nominations from Lok Sabha constituency Hoshiarpur for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, nomination papers were filed by 3 candidates. Giving this information, Returning Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal said that today Indian National Congress candidate Yamini Gomar, Aam Aadmi Party's Raj Kumar and Bahujan Dravida Party's Jeevan Kumar filed their nomination papers.
He said that Sukhwinder Kumar has filed papers as a covering candidate of Indian National Congress candidate Yamini Gomar. Similarly, Sonia filed papers as a covering candidate for Raj Kumar of Aam Aadmi Party and two sets of nomination papers were filed by both of them. In this way, 7 nominations were submitted by three candidates today. He said that thus far 9 nominations have been filed by a total of 5 candidates for the Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha constituency. He said that nominations can be filled till May 14.
He said that on May 11, the second Saturday and May 12 being a holiday, nomination papers cannot be filed, but on May 13 and 14, nominations will be filed from 11 am to 3 pm. He said that the nomination papers will be scrutinized on May 15 and the candidates will be able to withdraw their nomination papers till May 17. He said that voting will be held on June 1 from 7 am to 6 pm and counting of votes will be done on June 4. He said that the election process will be completed on June 6, 2024.
