Garhshankar - Like every year, this year also the annual Joad Mela of Dera Hazrat Syed Ahmed Sarwar Sakhi Sultam Lala Wala Peer Ji on 24, 25 and 26 May with the help of Nagar Panchayat and Sangats, Annual Joad Mela village Khadkuwal (Sabhas Nagar) with great respect is being done from.
Giving information about this fair, Gaddi Naseen Khalifa Malang Hussain Shah Madari (urf Baba Pawan Shah) said that the Mehndi ceremony will be performed on Friday evening, 24th May. On Saturday 25th May, after performing the chadar and flag ritual, the chadar will be taken around the entire town along with Sadar Khalifa Baba Phool Shah, Madari Kaliar Sharif and all the fakirs and the ritual of Chirag Roshan will be performed. And during the night, Baba Ji's glory will be sung by Murabar Ali (Malerkotla), Prem Kawal Party (Panam) and Sonia Nakal Party. Similarly, on Sunday 26th May, Kawal Party and artists will sing the praises of Baba Ji at his darwar till evening.
Babaji's langar will also be served during this fair. The Beda ceremony will be performed there in the evening. To increase the excitement of this fair, Sadar Khalifa Baba Phool Shah Aale Tabka, many of his disciples Zinda Shah Madar and family fakar fakirs are reaching this darwar.
