Maximum number of cases should be filed in National Lok Adalat to be held on May 11 - Rajpal Rawal

Hoshiarpur - District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur under the directions of Dilbagh Singh Johal by CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Raj Pal Rawal at District Level and Sub Divisional Level dated 11th May Regarding the National Lok Adalat to be held in 2024, a meeting was held with the officials of various departments, back managers, assistant managers of insurance companies at the new district and sessions court complex.

On this occasion, he gave guidelines for filing pre-litigative cases and said that maximum number of cases should be filed in this Lok Adalat, so that common people can get the benefit of it. Similarly, in a meeting with all the BDPOs of the district, they were instructed to do more publicity in the villages regarding the National Lok Adalat. Apart from this, during the meeting with District Forest Officer, Junior Assistant Officer of BSNL, Assistant Officer of Insurance Company and other officers, he was asked to file maximum number of cases in National Lok Adalat. Similarly, the District Revenue Officer-cum-Nodal Officer District Legal Services Authority was asked to settle the revenue cases through conciliation in this Lok Adalat.
Apart from this, discussions were held with SP Miss Navneet Kaur for the smooth execution of traffic challans in this Lok Adalat and also instructions were given to pay the padding challans through this Lok Adalat in the courts and Sandeep of the RTA office. Singh was asked to file as many challans as possible in Lok Adalat. The cases of Electricity Department were discussed with Axion Additional SE (S) Wing Narinder Singh. Similarly, Kulwinder Singh of the Municipal Corporation was instructed to file the challans deducted by his department in this Lok Adalat.
