Garhshankar, 1 December: Tarksheel Society Punjab unit Garhshankar organized a zone level Tarksheel Parivar Milan and half yearly gathering at Universal Public School Kullewal. On this occasion, the state media head of the society Sumit Singh Amritsar specially attended. Tarksheel families of zone Banga, Rahon, Nawanshahr and Garhshankar participated in the Tarksheel Parivar meeting.
The main speaker of the program Sumit Singh read a booklet on the book 'Andhvishvaas ki gant kaise katne' written by Hem Raj Steno and the Tarksheel leaders present participated in the discussion. The representatives and families present supported the student struggle going on in Brampton, Canada and strongly demanded through the resolution that the demands of the students fighting for their legitimate demands in Canada should be accepted and the protesters should be given justice.
