Garhsankar, August 30- In the meetings held in the Garhsankar constituency youth office for the past several days, the youth of various villages had demanded the construction of gyms and sports stadium grounds in their villages. These meetings were led by the Youth Coordinator of Garhsankar constituency, Prish.
Today, during an important meeting held in the Garhsankar assembly constituency, Deputy Speaker and MLA Jai Krishan Singh Raudi released grants to those villages where sports grounds and gyms were demanded. The amount of grants has been given from Rs 20 lakh to 40 lakh, which was released according to the demand of each village.
He said that these sports grounds and gyms will be inaugurated in a few days. On this occasion, the youth thanked Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and appreciated the efforts of the government to motivate the youth towards sports.
